FSLogix hangs when logging off w/ Blob Storage

We've noticed an issue with our AVDs where FSLogix is set to use blob storage/cloud cache.

When logging off, the session will hang on the Please wait for the FSLogix Apps Services message.

There's a known issue that's supposed to fix it, but it's still happening regardless of the FSLogix version we've tested.

We found THIS blog post that talks about some work arounds, but they didn't work for us either.

Has anyone seen this or know how we can get cloud only AVD users?

    Hello @Dave Stephenson

Glad to help, I did a little research based on the information you have provided. It seems like you have already tried a few different things to troubleshoot the issue. Here are a few more things you can try that might help mitigate the issue:

    1. Verify that the FSLogix service is functioning properly. On the AVD host, launch Task Manager, select the Services tab, and search for the "FSLogix Applications" service. If the service isn't running, try manually starting it.
    2. Make that the Azure Storage FSLogix profile container's permissions are configured properly. Verify that the user accounts that will be accessing the profile container have the required read- and write-access rights.
    3. To see if the problem still exists, try utilizing an alternative storage option for FSLogix, like Azure Files. This can assist you in figuring out whether the problem is unique to using FSLogix and Azure Blob Storage.
      1. Check if there are any firewall rules or network configurations that may be interfering with the connection to the FSLogix profile container.
      1. If the issue persists, consider opening a support ticket with Microsoft to get further assistance with troubleshooting the issue.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue you are experiencing with FSLogix in your AVD environment and I will be glad to help you further.
