I used a translator, please forgive me if it's weird.

I've been getting blue screens of death for a while now, and recently found a minidump that I'm trying to figure out.

My system specs

  • CPU : Ryzen 3700x
  • RAM : Samsung ddr4 16GB x 2
  • GPU : Palit jet stream 2070 super
  • M/B : Aorus x570 pro rev.1
  • PSU : Sysonic Gold GX-850

Names of the blue screens I was getting

  • KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
  • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
  • DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

The most common processes are

  • Code (Vscode)
  • msedgewebview2 (MS Edge WebView)
  • CrossExService (bank security program)
  • nvcontainer.ex (Nvidia Container)
  • OP.GG.exe (Game-related program, Electron based)
  • Chrome.exe (Chrome browser)

What I did

I figured it was most likely a hardware or driver issue

  • pushed the graphics card driver using DDU, reinstalled Windows and driver.
  • reinstalled the RAM, Graphic card and CPU.
  • ran the RAM test, Prime95, 3D Mark, Cinebench for multiple times, but the blue screen did not occur.
  • ran the following verification on non-MS drivers using the link below, which also did not cause the blue screen.

https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5470-enable-disable-driver-verifier-windows-10-a.html

  • Force IRQL checking
  • I/O verification
  • Force pending I/Orequests
  • IRP logging

I always get these blue screens with Chrome or programs that use graphics card acceleration, so what could be the reason?

Is there anything else we can test to determine the cause?

    Hello there,

You can try the memory test to find the driver causing this issue

The Memory Diagnostic Tool is used to verify and test the RAM. It is started for checking RAM for any faults while working on your system. It helps you to determine if any problem is occurring due to hardware failure including RAM, motherboard, and others. This process is done by running a set of tests.

ntkrnlmp.exe is an executable file associated with Windows Operating System. When Windows OS starts running in your computer, the programs that contain ntkrnlmp.exe will be executed and loaded into RAM and runs there as a NT Kernel & System process.

The graphics card driver corruption is one of the main causes for the ntkrnlmp.exe blue screen.

Hope this resolves your Query !!
