Permissions issue

Hi All

i am trying to add one user to eDiscovery Manager Permissions (Permissions-Permissions-eDiscovery Manager-eDiscoveryAdministrator) i am getting below error, this is first time i am facing issue adding users. i have tried in all browsers.

    According to your description, I have some questions that need to be clarified by you.

    1. Are you adding eDiscovery permissions in the compliance portal?
    2. Have you tried to add permissions by using the Add-RoleGroupMember cmdlet in Security & Compliance PowerShell? For example, you can run the following command to add a user to the eDiscovery Manager role group.
    Add-RoleGroupMember "eDiscovery Manager" -Member <username>
