Good day,
I am trying to reactivate my MS Office 2021 license on my new PC.
I have browsed through the related threads and the solutions provided did not manage to solve my issue.
After keying in my product key, the message that follows is "This product is already installed on another device".
If i choose to "contact support transfer your license to this device", the virtual chat assistant is unable to help me transfer the license over to my new PC.
I have also tried logging into my MS account, re-installing office via subcriptions page and it does not work either.
Important points:
a) I did not uninstall the MS Office app on my old PC
b) I no longer have access to my old PC to uninstall the MS office app
c) Installation using my MS account in excel app leads to the virtual chat assistant which does not allow me to transfer the license over to the new PC & the "call me back" function is not working either
d) I have tried installing office via the MS accounts subscription page but it leads me back to point C
e) Calling the MS office hotline does not work because they require the activation/installation ID in the activation wizard which is not present in MS office 2021 version.
Seeking urgent assistance.

You can install your Office on your new computer from the Office Account at https://account.microsoft.com/services. You will need to sign in with the same Microsoft Account that you used to purchase your Office. Then you will need to contact Microsoft Support to 'deactivate' Office on your old computer. You can find the number in global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

I have the same problem. I want to transfer office license to my new device. I am contacting the Microsoft support number as mentioned above but no one is connecting and just music is playing all the time. I have listened music for at least 30 mins. What is the other way?

Hi,
I have a question regarding the transfer of office home and business 2021 perpetual licence except in my situation, my computer is not changed but my microsoft account which activated the office will be changing to a new domain(hence a new microsoft account) .
Q: Do i need to sign out of old microsoft account and uninstall office to deactivate the office licence?
Q: Do i still need to contact MS support via the phone for office deactivation?
Q: can i then use the new microsoft account to activate the office after reinstallation?
