How can I create a link to a specific Visio tab?

Hi all,

I have several Visio documents that are saved in a document library in SharePoint. I have created a SharePoint list which lists all the diagrams on the tabs in the Visio documents. I want to be able to create links in the SharePoint list that open the relevant tabs in the Visio documents. Does anyone know how this can be done please?

I can link list items to the Visio documents already, but it will always open the last saved page (not the one relevant to that list item). Creating separate Visio documents for each diagram/tab is not really an option...

Many thanks,
Jon

    Hi @Jonathan Davies
Currently we could not link each list item to the related page in a Visio file as the link we get from SharePoint online belongs to the whole Visio instead of pages in it. So it will always open the last saved page (not the one relevant to that list item).

I am afraid you need to copy each of the pages to new created Visio files:

    1. Press Ctrl+A to select all the shapes on the page you want to copy.
    2. Press Ctrl+C to copy all the shapes.
    3. Switch to the other Visio file.
    4. On the destination page, press Ctrl+V to paste the shapes.

Thanks YiLu-MSFT for your help. Maybe this is something that Microsoft will address in the future? It's not really practical to have to create separate Visio documents for each page.
