OUTLOOK 365 on MAC REPEATEDLY ASKING FOR EMAIL PASSWORD

Question

How do I fix OUTLOOK 365 from asking me repeatedly to enter my email password again and again. The OUTLOOK is version 16.61. I enter the password and OUTLOOK performs the proper download/sync from my email provider (Earthlink). But, it will ask again the next time I go to my email, even 10 minutes later.

I finally got my yahoo and outlook to sync and I hope this link helps others who are having the same issue. It was easy to resolve once I found this -

I actually found an answer helpfull to this problem.

Just switch your language preferences to English. It worked for me and I can work in other language. It was more worth for me to get the issue resolved rather then trying out all the other tips that didn´t work at all.

Hi all

This is how I solved it:

• Close Outlook
• Open Keychain
  • Select "System Keychains\System" (on the left panel)
• Locate your S/MIME certificate and the nested private key underneath
• double-click the private key
• switch to the "Access Control" tab
• make sure to have "Microsoft Outlook" in the list of allowed apps (if not there, just add it)
• save the changes
• Start Outlook
