I'm using ubuntu 20 and I just installed teams for the first time. I have an invite as a guest for an org. When I select it and click Continue, it loads and displays the teams, chats, everything for 1-2 seconds and then it sort of disconnects and I end up in the welcome screen again (where I have to select the org invite). This is an endless loop and so far I wasn't able to use the desktop app.
I already reinstalled the app and it behaves the same.
Not sure if it's relevant, but I see some errors in the logs:

Does anyone else have the same issue in your organization except for guest account?
To exclude the client issue, we firstly recommend you check if you could login in Teams web client.
In addition, please try to change another device(Ubuntu 20) to see if it has the same problem.
I did a test in my environment and it seems work normally. The version is 1.4.00.13653.

In the browser it works just fine, but this is not a long term solution.

I think it doesn't matter because our environment also has small preview but we can work it normally.
Could you try to run the following command to reinstall your Teams for Linux client to see if it works:
curl https://packages.microsoft.com/keys/microsoft.asc | sudo apt-key add -

I just tried it now and the behavior is the same.
I can now confirm that this happens for all my colleagues that are guests of the organization. They can use the app for their own organization but when they try to switch to the new one (where they are guests) the behavior is the same. In my case, I don't have an initial organization, so I only see the guest invite in the organizations list. I'm quite sure that if you would perform any of these 2 tests you would get the same result.
For the moment we're using a browser shortcut and launch it as an app. Seems to be enough for us, but you guys still have an ugly bug :). I hope that some day it will be fixed.
