In our project need , we are looking to trigger a Logic app workflow whenever error/exception gets logged in log Analytics workspace using Alert Rule.
while configuring alert rule in log analytics workspace,in action name i have selected logic app,there it is not accepting logic app because it is asking for trigger name as well,as of now we are using recurrence trigger in logic app workflow,but trigger name is not reflecting while creating alert rule in log abalytics workspace
Please suggest if any solution for this .

I have the solution for this task, we need to create logic app and capture the exceptions from the application insights/log analytics workspace, and that information we are sending via email to the end user.
@Mounika Ponnam As per the document you need to create the trigger with "When a HTTP request is received". You cannot use reoccurrence trigger with the action group and you need to use the When a HTTP request is received trigger.

In our scenario we need to trigger logic app when there is a new log entry of data factory pipeline fail into log analytics workspace,while creating alert rule when i am selecting scope as "log analytics workspace" ,i can not see any logs related to data factory pipeline fails
If you can provides more details on how to use "When a HTTP request is received" in our scenario it would be great help
@Mounika Ponnam From the logic app end you need to follow the steps as shared earlier where you need to copy the schema as mentioned in the document.
On your issue while configuring the alert if you are not able to see any logs related to data factory I have added the azure-data-factory and azure-monitor tag to comment further.
