I doubt whether my app has over written the back up , I am unable to recover my old account and the sm accounts linked with it . Is there a way to restore the old back up ?

Restoring an old backup in Azure or Microsoft Authenticator depends on how your backup was configured and the current state of your accounts. Here are steps you can take:

1. Check Backup Status

• Ensure that your app was set to back up to the cloud. For Microsoft Authenticator, backups are tied to your Microsoft account.
  • Open the Microsoft Authenticator app and go to Settings > Backup to check if a backup is linked and where it's stored (e.g., iCloud for iOS or Google Drive for Android).

2. Restore the Backup
   • If the backup exists, you can restore it by signing into the same Microsoft account in the Authenticator app on a new or reset device:
     1. Install the Microsoft Authenticator app.
     2. Open the app and select Restore from Backup.
     3. Sign in with your Microsoft account to retrieve the backup.
3. Recover Linked Accounts
