Migrated to Standard Load Balancer - No Internet Access

After migrating from Basic to Standard Load Balancing, VM no longer has Internet access. I tried adding a NAT Gateway, but still couldn't manage internet access. We really don't even need load balancing, but a prior migration from Azure Classic to Azure ARM may have added basic load balancing which worked fine until moving to Standard LB. Between Network Security Groups, Rules, Outbound/Inbound Ports, NAT Gateway settings, etc. it became overly complicated. I can still access the VM internally.

Migrating to Standard Load Balancing can sometimes disrupt internet access due to differences in default settings. Have you checked if "Standard SKU" public IP is associated with the VM? Unlike Basic LB, Standard LB requires an explicit outbound connection setup.

Also, since you mentioned that you don’t need load balancing, have you tried removing the Standard LB and directly associating a Public IP with the VM’s NIC? That might simplify the setup.
