Hi ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
- 30-Day Reactivation Window
- When your credits run out, your subscription is disabled, and you generally have about 30 days to add credits or switch to Pay-As-You-Go to keep everything running.
- Up to 90-Day Data Retention
- If you do nothing, Azure usually retains your data for up to 90 days, after which resources (including large blob storage) can be permanently deleted.
- You Will Get Notifications
- Expect emails and portal messages about the subscription being disabled and potential deletion. Keep an eye on the email tied to your Azure account.
If you want to avoid any risk of losing data, it’s best to add funds or convert to a Pay-As-You-Go subscription as soon as you receive the “disabled” notice, rather than waiting until the data is scheduled for permanent deletion. If you’re uncertain about your particular Open License terms, you can also open a support ticket with Microsoft or check your Azure subscription settings in the portal for the most accurate, up-to-date policy details.
