Hello, I am encountering an issue with SCCM when it comes to implementing it into our environment (University). I am seeing many ends user devices show "NO" for client as it is not communicating with our server.

Looking at the Config Manager control panel, it shows that it does have a PKI cert (which is valid) but the Notification Agent component shows disabled.

We have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the application and still have not found a solution.1234

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

1,Please help check the locationservices.log, ccmsetup.log, clientlocation.log, clientidstartupmanager.log on the clients to see if there is any further information.

2,For test purpose, we can also try to uninstalled and re-installed SCCM agent on a few devices to see if it works.

3,Please check your boundaries and boundary groups configurations, and associate your MPs and DPs to the boundary groups. Make sure the client can communicate with the MPs and DPs.

4,Please also make sure your Firewall doesn't block the communication between the client and site system servers.

Hope above information helps. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,

    Simon

    if the problem still persists:

    1. Enable Notification Agent: Run the command (SQL): sc config ccmexec start= auto This enables the ccmexec service (including the Notification Agent).
    2. Verify SCCM Client Installation: Reinstall using (CMD): ccmsetup.exe /force
    3. Check Client Communication Settings: In SCCM, ensure Client Communication settings are correctly configured (HTTP/HTTPS).
    4. Verify Network Connectivity: Ensure clients can reach the Management Point (MP) and Distribution Point (DP).
    5. Force Policy Retrieval: In Configuration Manager control panel, force Machine Policy Retrieval and User Policy Retrieval cycles.
    6. Review Logs: Check logs like ccmexec.log, LocationServices.log, and PolicyAgent.log for errors.
    7. Check PKI Certificate: Ensure the PKI certificate is valid and properly installed on the client.
    8. Test with CCMDiag Tool: Run CCMDiag to diagnose communication issues.
