Join AVD session hosts to AADDS

Hi
I want to build a pure cloud based AVD deployment. I want to use FSLogix to store the profiles in an Azure Files share and I also wan't to use another Azure Files share for the day to day files.
I have succesfully deployed AADDS (Entra Domain Services) .
How do I get the AVD session hosts to join to the AADDS and / or how do I get the users on AVD desktops to authenticate against the file share??

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.Here are steps that you can follow to build a pure cloud based AVD deployment and to use FSLogix to store the profiles in an Azure Files share
- Deploy and access Microsoft Entra joined virtual machines in Azure Virtual Desktop. (Microsoft Entra joined VMs remove the need to have line-of-sight from the VM to an on-premises or virtualized Active Directory Domain Controller (DC) or to deploy Microsoft Entra Domain Services. In some cases, it can remove the need for a DC entirely, simplifying the deployment and management of the environment. These VMs can also be automatically enrolled in Intune for ease of management.) - Assign user access to host pools : After you've created your host pool, you must assign users access to their resources. To grant access to resources, add each user to the application group. For more information refer the 1_st_ link below.
- Now Install FSLogix Application by following the 2_nd_ link below.
- Store FSLogix profile containers on Azure Files and Active Directory Domain Services or Microsoft Entra Domain Services
- Join your storage account to Active Directory. here
- Assign RBAC role to users. here
- Create and configure an Azure Files share for Microsoft Entra Kerberos authentication. This configuration allows you to store FSLogix profiles. here
