Links added in sharepoint online communication sites keep changing from blue different shades of blue to purple and cannot be changed back to blue

Hi we have an issue where colleague is adding text on sharepoint online communication site pages and when copying hyperlinks from a Word document to a Sharepoint page- the URL text link is blue at first and sometimes different shades of blue but we thought when clicked turns purple which it seems to also be doing- but then remains purple even if a new user never on that site visits page- how can we consistently turn all the hyperlinks added to blue and avoid it turning it to different shades of blue and or purple when clicked? thanks, Liz

    Hope everything is going well.

    Based on your description and my internal testing, it appears that the hyperlinks on the page do not change color as they are visited. I have tested it in different browsers, and it doesn't change color.

    In order to make sure that we can find out why the problem is occurring and solve it more efficiently, we need to perform some tests:

    1. Please try to remove the hyperlink in the text and then add the hyperlink again to see if the problem still exists.
    2. If the same problem exists on other pages, please try to add hyperlinks on the new page to see if the problem still exists.
    3. Are other users facing the same problem? View through another computer or account.
    4. Check if the same issue occurs with other SharePoint communication sites.
    5. Try to use a different browser or your browser's InPrivate mode to see if the same error occurs.
