How to use system speakers while using a mic which the system recognizes as a headset?

Hello. So I recently bought a mic which connects through 3.5mm jack. When I select the device as mic in it does not catch any sound and does not operate as a mic. So I have to select headphone with mic option. After this it works fine as a mic but the system also recognizes it as a speaker therefore I cannot hear any audio while the mic is connected. Is there any way to get around it? I us

You can follow these steps:

1. Set Your Speakers as the Default Playback Device:

• Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sounds.

• Go to the Playback tab.

• Select your system speakers and click Set Default.

2. Configure Your Microphone:

• Go to the Recording tab in the same Sounds window.

• Select your microphone (which might be recognized as a headset) and click Set Default.

• Double-click on your microphone to open its properties.

• Go to the Listen tab.

• Check the box Listen to this device.

• In the Playback through this device dropdown, select your system speakers.

• Click Apply and then OK.

3. Go back to the Playback tab and double-click your system speaker.

Adjust the volume levels as needed to ensure you can hear the microphone input through the speakers.
