Cannot install MS Office Professional Plus 2019 on my new Windows 11 Dell

Good day to all,

I got a new Windows 11 laptop, and I am trying to install the MS Office Professional Plus 2019 on there, but I have tried to activate it twice via the phone activation.

I removed it from my old laptop after the first attempt to see if that was the issue but still had no luck.

After speaking the installation ID into the phone correctly, the Assistant voice comes back and tells me that it is not a valid copy or words to that effect.

Did I get a scam copy back in 2020 and now it is not valid?

Also, for MS Office 365, what is included for free? Is it Word, PowerPoint and excel?

Is your Office Professional Plus 2019 a volume licensed version or a retail version?

• If it is a volume licensed one, do you use the MAK method to activate Office?

Did I get a scam copy back in 2020 and now it is not valid?

• Was this Office 2019 purchased from Microsoft official channels? If not, the situation you mentioned cannot be ruled out.
• The one-time purchase of Office can be migrated to another device, not more than one time every 90 days. The reference: Transfer your Office license to another device or another person.

Does the installation ID you entered is got from "Microsoft Office Activation Wizard", just like the number shown in Step 2 in the picture below?

I suggest you using following command to get the installation ID for a comparison.

• Please search CMD in Windows search box, right-click the Command Prompt and run as administrator. Then copy and paste the command below in it, click Enter at last:
• cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /dinstid

for MS Office 365, what is included for free? Is it Word, PowerPoint and excel?

You can register a free Microsoft account, and then you can use Office for web, such as Excel online, Word online, and etc. for free.

But Office for web needs to be used with OneDrive, which serves as a file storage space. Please note, with a Microsoft account, Microsoft only gives away free 5G space.
