Failed to replicate VM - Disk Issue

  • Error ID 310156
  • Error Message The count of attached disks for the virtual machine could not get reported correctly by Site Recovery services.
  • Possible causes The error could be due to below reasons - 1. ISCSI disks might be present, which is not supported using VMware discovery, please replicate them as physical servers. 2. A disk was recently attached to the already protected VM and Site Recovery service is synchronizing the information of this disk.
  • Recommendation
    1. Ensure that machine disk configuration is supported by Azure Site Recovery. 2. If disk(s) have been attached to the VM recently, then wait some time for Site Recovery services to detect them before retrying the operation.
