I bought an SSD for my laptop. I did a recovery of my windows 11 onto a flash drive. I took out the HHD and replaced it with the SSD. Then i plugged in the flash drive and installed my windows 11 on it, but now when i go to my manage settings it shows the details of my old HHD and not my SSD. There was a WD hhd that i replaced with a Crucial BX500. But it shows the WD drive and not the crucial in my settings, why?? How can i fix this? I downloaded the crucial firmware and app also. It doesn't want to install the firmware of the crucial. Please help??? Laptop also doesn't perform faster, maybe because its not picking up the software as its still working on the Wd HHD software? I don't know. Please help

    Hi,

Since your Windows is not installed on the SSD, you can uninstall the SSD in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc), then reboot the computer to see if the SSD can be correctly identified.

If the issue persists, try connecting the SSD to another SATA port on your motherboard. Also make sure the SSD can be recognized correctly in the BIOS / UEFI.

    Best Regards,
