I created a student account for a module in university. I had the free 200USD and didn't use them all. I had plenty left. I'm sure I didn't leave anything running so I don't know how the credits have been used up. I need the credits to connect to an IoT hub with a raspberry pi device for a project for a core module in my university course. Is there anyway for me to get the credits back as without them I cant do my work. Thanks

    Hello MUDASSAR ARSHAD

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

Free Azure credits are offered to students at a 12 month basis:

If you exhaust your available credit before 12 months and you want to continue to use Azure, you can upgrade to a pay-as-you-go subscription in the Azure portal.

As seen here, you can renew add the end of the 12 months.

If you change it into pay-as-you-go, the free Azure services apply as seen on this page.

This includes a Free IoT Hub (8,000 messages per day and .5 KB message meter size of Free edition).

As an alternative, you can ask a fellow students to give you access to their subscription as an EntraID guest account with elevated rights/roles to work with resources overthere.
