Office 2021 Pro default setup

Question

How to modify / create my one setup default for Word under the path : C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates ? Windows 11 lock this directory and even with administrator right it is impossible to write in it!

It's evil thank you micro$oft!

Any idea to solve this ?

PS: I use Windows 11 Professional 24H2, build 26100.2454 with Microsoft Office Professional Plus PRO 2021 Version 2412 (build 18324.20194).

Could you please tell us how do you want to modify/create a setup default for Word?

Some default settings, such as fonts, margins, spacing can be achieved by modifying Word's global template Normal.dotm under this path.

Please close all the files of Office and go to File Explorer > View in Show/hide group > check the box of "Hidden Items".

You may find Normal.dotm, right click it, select "Open", then you can do some changes that will be applied to documents that you create in the future.
