Duplicate App shortcuts

I have developed an app in app in Maui and I have created an .apk for it. After The apk gets installed , It creates two icons and when I try to uninstall one, both of them gets uninstalled at the same time. I have already created and deployed two small app with this method and it did not have the issue at that time. But, I don't know why its happening this time. Can you please help me ?

What is your .NET version?

Please change other devices to make a test, will you get the same issue?

Please check your MainActivity.cs and the AndroidManifest.xml code, did you set the LAUNCHER in the MainActivity.cs and the AndroidManifest.xml at the same time?

Can you share a mini demo that I can reproduce this issue?

Thanks a lot for the reply. I did the change , but it didnot work. Currently, this is my AndroidManifest.xml

Please remove the following code. If you add following code and the [Activity(MainLauncher = true)] in the MainAcitivty, you will create two app icons.

Please share a minimal demo with us that I can reproduce this issue.

Hello,

I have mistakenly defined launcher as true in mainactivity and splashactivity, thats why it was creating double icons. Now, i have deleted from main activity an d its installing properly.
