Unable to apply existing color/named categories to emails as a delegate

I am unable as an Outlook email delegate with full access permissions to apply existing color / titled categories to EMAILS within delegated email account using O365 New Outlook desktop version but can on the web version. I used to have the ability to do so prior to moving to the New Outlook. What can I do to get them to show for use in the New Outlook desktop version?
