Resolving Intune Error 2016281112 Under Password Complexity Settings

Question

The Password complexity Setting in the Intune Compliance policy causing the devices as non compliant even though the devices has complex passwords Given that users are indeed using complex alphanumeric passwords,. It shows as error status. The error shown in the intune admin center is this "2016281112(Remediation failed) ". Can you tell us the reason for this error and cleary how to resolve this error.

@CuriosityUser, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For the affected device, I would like to confirm if it is windows device.

The error might be related to the MinDevicePasswordComplexCharacters setting. This setting requires a password that includes a mix of characters. Ensure that all local user accounts on the device meet the password complexity requirements. Sometimes, the policy might not be applied correctly to all accounts, leading to non-compliance
