A customer is experiencing an error on their SCOM Console when attempting to resolve an agent Pending Upgrade in Pending Management. The Agent needed to be upgraded from the SCOM 2019 Agent to the SCOM 2022 Agent.

The Agent Management Operation Agent Install failed for remote computer **.lab.com.

Error Description: Fatal error during installation.

    Hi,

    For this problem, the working way is to check the AgentInstall.log (mentioned in above location) for more details. 80070463 often means some components required for Microsoft Monitoring Agent, for example, .NET framework 4.7.2 and we can manually install these components and try the wizard again.

    If possible, you can also upload the file for further troubleshooting.
