Issue Creating Private Endpoint with Azure Application Gateway's Private Link Enabled

Hello Azure Community,

We are facing an issue while creating a private endpoint in Azure, and we need some assistance to resolve this.

Scenario:

  • We have created an Azure Application Gateway with the private link feature enabled.
  • Now, we are trying to create a private endpoint in another subscription.
  • During the private endpoint setup, we provided the following reference details for the Application Gateway:
    • Resource Reference: `/subscriptions/

    Cloud you please provide below information for further investigation:

    1. Could you clarify whether you are deploying the private endpoint using the portal or any script?
    2. If you are attempting with the script, please also try using the portal and inform me of the results.

    We tested internally it is working for us kindly check the below screen shot:

    Please check if there is any temporary issue with the Azure service in specific region from this URL

    If there is no outage that was causing the issue, then try creating the Private Endpoint manually using the Azure portal or Azure CLI to see if the issue occurring.

    Additionally, try creating the Private Endpoint in a different Azure region to see if the issue is specific to the current region.
