Unable to access Microsoft 365 email due to issue with Microsoft Authenticator App

I set up a one month trial to a Microsoft 365 business subscription, which required Microsoft Authenticator as the 2-step verification.

Now, when I try to access the email account it prompts me to input a code but the app keeps generating 2 digit codes and asking me to input them into itself. When I click on more information or alternative options for 2FA it just loops via the Microsoft Authenticator App without any option to use an alternative method to sign in.

I am unable to cancel my subscription to the business account free trial as I can't access the email account - even when I go into the admin centre and try and amend the billing options I am required to sign in and it takes me through the same loop.

I am the only admin on the account so wondered if it's possible somehow to cancel 2FA, access the account via a backup verification method or cancel the account to suspend the billing?

Any support would be much appreciated.

Thank you
