I understand that you have developed SCIM user provisioning for your existing SSO application, which is already listed in the Microsoft Entra application gallery. Now, you want to update the SSO application to include SCIM capabilities.
Submitting new gallery listings (i.e., adding a new app to the Microsoft Entra gallery) is currently paused due to the Security Future Initiatives (SFI).
Does the above scenario qualify as an Update Request or a New Request?
Making changes or updates to existing apps that are already listed in the gallery is considered an Update Request.
What does it mean when it states, "Update requests will be processed on a case-by-case basis?"
Update requests will be processed on a case-by-case basis means that our team is selectively reviewing update requests for existing gallery listings, rather than automatically processing all updates. While some updates may be approved and processed, not all updates will be accepted or handled immediately. Each update request will be evaluated individually.
To update your existing application, you can submit your application update request through the Microsoft Application Network portal
