Hello, I want to find some ui elements in windows apps but when i find it using uiautomation findAll or findFirst it slows down programs. I undertand that there are many elements in ui and it requires going throug many elements but for example in browsers api I can get elements without noticeable delay. why does this happen and can it be fixed?

Accoridng to the Doc: IUIAutomationElement::FindFirst
When searching for top-level windows on the desktop, be sure to specify TreeScope_Children in the scope parameter, not TreeScope_Descendants. A search through the entire subtree of the desktop could iterate through thousands of items and lead to a stack overflow.
If your client application might try to find elements in its own user interface, you must make all UI Automation calls on a separate thread.
I use TreeScope_Descendants, I need to find one element in browser windows that can be located in different paths for browsers. When I'm finding it the browser window start lagging. This may be located in tree depth is equals to 7. p.s. sent to the wrong place
