Remote Desktop / Remote Desktop Application
I have been extensively using Remote Desktop and Remote Desktop Applications for some time now. I've encountered a few minor issues that I haven't been able to resolve.
The primary problem stems from DWM.exe, which consumes a significant amount of CPU. While enabling graphics cards in RDP sessions mitigates this issue, it persists in Remote Desktop Application mode and utilities. Specifically, DWM.exe utilizes one CPU core per screen, resulting in 30% CPU usage with one screen and 50% with two screens.
Is there a way to force the Remote Desktop Application to utilize the WDDM driver to reduce DWM.exe's CPU usage?
