Azure AD cloud only identities with Azure File services - using custom identity proxy

I want to use Azure AD cloud only identities with Azure File services. I want to create an identity proxy for this connectivity.

  • Cannot use ADDS or Entra DS.

could a custom application based on MSAL - work ?

    Using Azure AD cloud-only identities with Azure File services can be challenging since Azure Files typically requires integration with AD DS or Microsoft Entra Domain Services (Entra DS) for identity-based authentication.
