Speech Studio Advanced Custom Keyword Model creation FAILS in East US

The creation of my advanced custom keyword model failed after 24 hours of being in progress.

status: Failed (no additional error message)
region: East US

I was able to create a basic model and it was ready in a couple of hours (not 30 minutes as stated in the docs).
