How do I read and monitor employee emails without logging into their account ?

Microsoft recently changed to purview for microsoft 365 and there are no help articles about this. I need to have the ability to read emails of current and separated employees without having to log into their account.

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

You can access another person’s mailbox if you have been granted the appropriate permissions to their mailbox. Permissions can range from read-only to creation, deletion, and allowing responses to messages.
