I tried everything, nothing worked, it doesn't let me create dev box definitions. It gives me error "devboxdefinitions cannot be created in the westeurope region at this time, because the resource quota has been exceeded in that region. Please request a quota limit increase. https://aka.ms/increase-quota". Now to request quota increase i need a paid account. If i can't test drive dev box then why even give test accounts? I tried every region, every region has the same problem. I contacted my microsoft rep but no answer yet.

    Hi Mahesh Upadhyay,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with creating Dev Box definitions due to quota limits. Free trial accounts typically have lower limits compared to paid subscriptions, which can restrict the ability to create certain resources like Dev Boxes.

As mentioned in the document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/azure-subscription-service-limits#microsoft-dev-box-limitsUser's image

Free trial and Azure for Students subscriptions do not provide any resources for Dev Box. If you are using one of these subscription types, you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription to request a quota increase and create Dev Box definitions.

While test accounts allow users to explore Azure services, they may not provide the full functionality needed for more complex tasks like setting up Dev Boxes.

Upgrading to a pay-as-you-go plan may be necessary for those looking to fully utilize Azure's capabilities without encountering these restrictions.

    Hope this helps!
