Hello Abdul Haque,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum. Thanks for posting your query here!
I understand that your unable to elevate write access permission on RODC server even after all permissions where added.
Please be informed that by design, RODCs are primarily intended for read-only operations. While they can replicate some write operations, they are not designed for heavy write workloads or scenarios where frequent modifications are expected. Write operations initiated on an RODC are typically forwarded to a writeable domain controller for processing. This can introduce latency and potentially impact performance.
While you've verified that all necessary permissions are granted, it's crucial to ensure that the effective permissions on the RODC server drive are correctly applied and not being overridden by any group policies or other security settings.
However, we request you to Perform basic read/write operations on other shares or files on the RODC to confirm its general functionality and connectivity and Check Event Logs, Review the Windows Event Logs on the RODC for any errors or warnings related to file system operations or domain controller replication.
Also Double-check the sync group settings in the Azure portal, ensuring that the RODC server endpoint is correctly configured and that the sync policy is appropriate for the expected workload and examine the conflict resolution settings within the sync group. Adjust the settings if necessary to prioritize changes made on the RODC or to handle conflicts more effectively.
