Hi,

The Windows Notification Service (WNS) appears to be experiencing degraded service health. WNS is the service described at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/design/shell/tiles-and-notifications/windows-push-notification-services--wns--overview.

Issue: Requests to Windows Notification service failed with Timeout error.

Incident start time: Dec 19, 2024 06:40:00 UTC

Incident end time: Dec 19, 2024 08:15:00 UTC

To verify WNS service health:

  • Is there a Microsoft dashboard that includes service health status for Windows Notification Service (WNS)? I looked into Office Portal and Azure Portal but neither of them includes WNS service health.
  • Does Microsoft publish Incident History report for Windows Notification Service impact?

@Gokul Unfortunately, there isn't a dedicated Microsoft dashboard specifically for the Windows Notification Service (WNS) health status. The Office Portal and Azure Portal do not include WNS service health information.

Regarding incident history reports, Microsoft does not publish a specific incident history report for WNS impacts. However, service health information, including incidents and maintenance, is generally available through the Microsoft 365 admin center. You can check the Service health section there for any related updates or notifications.

Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
