Hi,
Thanks for coming to my issue.
I'll try and give you some background on what my issue is so please read the entire post before responding with the usual "Update and clear your cache" instructions :-)
Background:
- Our business uses G-Suite. It provides our primary calendar and gmail.
We also use Microsoft Office (Primarily Teams), we currently use Professional Plus 2021.
I use Calendarbridge to sync our Google and Microsoft calendars without issue.
Issue:
The issue comes across Microsoft Office programs.
If I add a calendar entry on Teams, it will appear in the calendar on Outlook (NEW) and Outlook Web App.
But it will NOT appear in the calendar on Outlook (Classic / Original).
I've successfully added the Google calendar to Outlook (Via a url), but of course this is view only. I'm not interested in sharing my Google Calendar to outlook.
Also if I add a calendar event to Outlook (Classic / Original) this entry DOES NOT appear in Teams or sync via Calendarbidge to Google.
Outlook (NEW) lacks the features that Outlook (Classic / Original) provides, hence I need to use Outlook (Classic / Original). But if my calendar doesn't sync it isn't much use.
Another quirk is that Outlook Web App, whilst the calendar is syncing flawlessly, the email function does not work. By this I do not mean emails won't "send", but I can't receive emails from anywhere other than itself. So if I open the Outlook Web App I have 3 emails in my inbox, an introductory one and two I've sent myself from the Outlook Web App as tests. I cannot receive any other emails to this account.
So I'm stuck either using Outlook (New), which is missing all the features I need, or using the gmail web page; which again lacks the features I want from the Outlook (Classic / Original) application.
The Fix:
I just want full editability of my Microsoft calendar the same way I do in Teams or Outlook (NEW) but in Outlook (Classic / Original).
What I've tried:
Yes I've made sure Outlook (Classic / Original) and Teams have been updated to the latest versions.
Yes I've cleared the Cache.
Yes I've tried signing in and out of my Microsoft Account
Yes I've tried reinstalling Microsoft Office several times.
And yes I've restarted my computer haha
Please could I get some advise on why my Teams Calendar (My wider Microsoft calendar that Outlook (New) and Outlook Web App can see, won't show in my Outlook (Classic / Original) application.Hi,
