Slow Booting Issue with WDS: "Windows is loading files..."

Windows Server is running with the WDS role enabled.

Client computers can boot from WDS, but they display "Windows is loading files..." and experience very slow loading of the \boot\boot.sdi, often taking an hour or more.

What could be causing this issue, and what steps can be taken to resolve it?

I have also created a generic boot image with the same result.

    Hello,

I'm curious if you're using a virtual machine to simulate a client PC. We had an experience in the past where we lost some network card drivers.

You can also try to increase TFTP block size by this command: wdsutil /set-Server /TFTP /blocksize:16384
