I have expanded storage on my Azure account from 500GB to 1 TB. This is not visible on my mapped disk drive on my WM. I have restarted the WM with no effect.

How can I make use of this new disk space I am paying for?

Extend the disk and run diskmgmt.msc.

    1. Find your expanded disk
    2. Right-click on the volume
    3. Select "Extend Volume"
    4. Follow the Extend Volume Wizard

If you don't see the unallocated space in Disk Management, you may need to rescan the disks.

You could also go to the portal and If you still don't see the space, verify the disk is properly resized and force a reload of the disk configuration through Azure

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you
