How can I disable the Content Filter in Azure Open AI

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the persistent issues I have been facing regarding the Content Filter functionality in OpenAI. The filter is malfunctioning, particularly for Spanish-language content. For example, it flagged the term "corrida financiera," a standard financial term in Spanish, as inappropriate sexual content. This is just one instance, and I have encountered numerous similar issues where completely inoffensive phrases are being incorrectly flagged.

For over a month, I have been in communication with Azure’s support and sales teams, yet no one has been able to provide a solution. I was advised to complete a form, which I did, only to have my request rejected because I supposedly need an account manager. When I contacted the sales team to resolve this, I was finally put in touch with an account manager, who then informed me they could not assist, stating that only the internal Azure team has the ability to disable or remove the content filter.

This endless back-and-forth has been a massive waste of my time, and despite numerous efforts, I am no closer to a resolution. The content filter issue is preventing us from fully utilizing the credits we received from the Founders Hub six months ago, and it is seriously impacting our work.

We have already attempted to modify the filter without success. I need immediate assistance to either disable or remove the content filter so we can proceed with our projects. This matter has dragged on for far too long, and I expect a prompt and effective resolution.

Please address this issue with the urgency it deserves.

Thank You!

    Hi Clara Thays,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, thank you for posting your query here!

if you are a managed Azure customer (i.e., your company has a dedicated Microsoft account team) then you can request de-activation of the content filtering in your Azure subscription by filling-in the following online form: https://ncv.microsoft.com/uEfCgnITdR

If approved, you would be able to disable content filtering partially (e.g., for specific categories) or completely. For security and safety reasons, this deactivation option is not available for the personal Azure subscriptions.

    Thank you!!
