Hi,

The feature Data Used (Preview) in AI Builder prompt preparation is really nice. It helps in my client's requirements for creating custom prompt with filter and custom recommendations.

I have doubt though, can I use it in my architecture design proposal subsequently in implementation (consider production as well) as it is still in preview state. If it will be released to production use then when and what will be licensing updates?

Please, confirm this ASAP as I have to finalize my design.

Thanks.

    Hi Sonawane, Sachin,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

It's wonderful to hear your positive feedback on the Data Used (Preview) feature in AI Builder prompt preparation, and that it’s effectively meeting your client's needs!

Preview features are typically released to gather feedback and may undergo changes before their full release. Once the feature is out of preview, any updates regarding licensing or other changes will be communicated through official Microsoft channels, including product documentation and release notes.

If you need to finalize your design soon, it might be wise to plan for a fallback option or explore alternative solutions in case this feature is still in preview when your project reaches the implementation stage.
