I am having trouble opening PDF files that are saved in my OneDrive PC folder. When I try to open them, they do not open, but I am able to open them if I copy the files or folder to my desktop. What could be causing this issue?

Hi @ Jason Are there any error messages when you cannot open PDF files? If you use Adobe Reader DC to open PDF files, please go to "Preferences", uncheck the "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" box for a check. Is the OneDrive PC folder a local OneDrive sync folder or a mapped network drive folder? If it is a sync folder, please try to reset OneDrive for a check. Hi @Jiajiing, thank you for your response.

No error messages, I double click to open and no response. The OneDrive PC folder is a local OneDrive Sync folder, the issue happens to files that are marked as 'available when online' - I have read other potential solutions online before and it mentioned about something to do with the directory that might be causing this issue.

For additional context - the PDFs that cannot be opened is from my corporate one drive sync folder.

From OneDrive perspective,, please right click on these PDF files, choose "Always keep on this device" for a check.
