Hello,
I think the following video can help anyone who wants to try Microsoft Fabric by using azure trial:
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I have a non-business email account setup for Azure so I can learn, simple eh?
WHY do I need a 'business' email account to learn Fabric??
Microsoft: WHY do you have to be sooooooooooo annoying????
How do developers 'learn' new tech if you have blockers like this? It's stupid!
Hello,
I think the following video can help anyone who wants to try Microsoft Fabric by using azure trial:
Wow, what a pain and annoying Microsoft implementation. Do they still teach UX in uni?
Here's the work around for anyone else struggling to compete with Microsofts bad UX:
It’s the very first step of trying to create a free Fabric account and work through exercises. https://microsoftlearning.github.io/mslearn-fabric/Instructions/Labs/01-lakehouse.html
This directs user to open the account here:
https://app.fabric.microsoft.com/home?experience=fabric
This website won’t accept a personal email, but requires a work email, which is impossible if you are not presently working. Irony: I was hoping to get this certification and use it to get work.
It’s my first Learn challenge, so IDK whether the lab is required. I do know it is impossible, as-is!
Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on the following article, may I ask which step was blocked and asked for a business email account?

If you have a trial (or paid) Azure account, you get an onmicrosoft.com e-mail address for every user profile you make, and it works for Fabric sign-up. See this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHV7jZqc_tE
It includes how to sign up for an Azure account for free, which you can skip if you already have an account.
