Good day!

I know there is already a similar question, but almost a year later still a lot of people facing this issue and none of the recommendation from previous post is working.

I am trying to use Azure free trial and on the form there is a phone validation. [Country = Ukraine]

Whatever I enter here (with or without country code) I am always being redirected to the new page with the error message:

In the dev tools there is a request with 403 response:

Response body:
{"ErrorCode":"SmsChallengeRiskRejection_flightOn","ErrorTitle":"We’re unable to validate your phone number","ErrorDescription":"Phone validation is required to confirm your identity and complete signup.","RecourseOptions":[{"Description":"Reenter your SMS verification code, or try again with a different phone number.","Link":"https://signup.azure.com/signup?offer=ms-azr-0044p&appId=102&ref=&redirectURL=https:%2F%2Fazure.microsoft.com%2Fget-started%2Fwelcome-to-azure%2F&experimentId=217658&experimentGroup=ControlFA&l=en-us&srcurl=https:%2F%2Fazure.microsoft.com%2Ffree","LinkText":"Reenter your SMS verification code, or try again with a different phone number.","LinkId":"TryAgain"}],"AddionalInfo":null}

Unfortunately I was unable to create a ticker to the Azure support because of another error which I am facing from time to time on different Microsoft pages

Could you please help resolve an issue?

    @Oleksandr Petrovskyi Connected offline, reviewed the issue and researched internally on this, found this issue with phone number validation during Azure Subscription Sign up can be resolved by creating a support ticket and working with our Azure subscription team.

    So suggested to use one of the contact numbers from here - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 and created a support ticket.

    Initially the ticket was routed to incorrect team, made sure this was transferred to subscription team and got the account unblocked, so there after sign up process was completed successfully.

    For anyone trying with the mobile and not having success: It's not about the mobile browser, but using 5G instead of the wifi :)

    This should be a huge embarrassment for Microsoft. Such a trivial issue has been going on for far too long. Very unprofessional from a company that was once highly respected.
