I am trying to set up azure sql edge device . I also have an Azure SQL database set up in the cloud. I want to synchronize data from sql edge to sql database in the cloud. For that, I was trying to create a sync group and install sql sync agent in Azure SQL edge. It seems, SQL sync agent can be installed only in Windows (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27693). But my SQL edge device is set up in an Ubuntu environment. Could you please help me to resolve this issue?

Azure SQL Data Sync only works on Windows operating system. Please consider using this tutorial to make use of Azure Data Factory (ADF) instead to sync Azure SQL Edge on Linux with Azure SQL Database. You can upload the Azure SQL Edge data to Azure SQL Storage as explained in the tutorial and from there import it using ADF to Azure SQL by following this second tutorial.
