Well at the moment you comment in a post, even random one, sending it to your colleague can follow you from there

How do I find specific users to follow on Microsoft Learn?
I monitor my team's technology journey on Microsoft Learn, and before Christmas I could search for user profiles, but now the ability to search for people on Q&A seems to have disappeared. How can I find my friends, colleagues, workmates and team members?

2023-07-10T15:55:46.9733333+00:00 Currently that feature is deprecated after the launch of Microsoft Q&A (v2) in January 2023. It is on our backlog to be added back eventually however, the only way to find others to follow is viewing content they have posted and following them from the UI there:

2023-07-10T16:02:16.0233333+00:00 Thanks for the response, Richard. Not the answer I was looking for, but at least it is conclusive. As a team leader I would like to use this feature to promote team engagement. It is a pity the feature has been deprecated since Microsoft Learn has only recently come in existence.

2023-07-10T19:47:15.3333333+00:00 It is possible that you may be able to track them in other areas of Learn - my response about this feature being deprecated as we launched Q&A v2 back in January only applies to Q&A - and not all across Learn.

2024-03-21T18:02:19.07+00:00 It has not been added back yet but you can search for users using the Q&A search feature to find content they have commented/posted and then their profile will be linked in their handle.
