Inventory by Serial No. (Power BI Report)
APPLIES TO: Generally available in Business Central 2024 release wave 2 (version 25.1).
If you track items by serial numbers, the Inventory by Serial No. report shows your total inventory per serial number. Use this report to track the performance of items on a serial by serial basis.
Use the report
Inventory management and warehousing staff use this report to track inventory per serial number.
Inventory managers use the report to optimize stock levels for each serial number. This information can help identify slow moving inventory, so you can take corrective action. It can also help you find serial numbers that are due to expire.
The report gives warehouse staff a clear picture of the quantities of each serial number, so you can manage inventory efficiently and avoid stock-outs.
