Zulassen, dass Benutzer, die keine Administratoren sind, Drucker unter macOS installieren

Standardmäßig erfordert das Installieren von Druckern unter macOS Administratoren. Dieser Standardwert wird von den Richtlinieneinstellungen in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf gesteuert und kann geändert werden.

Wenn die Geräte Ihrer Benutzer von einer MDM-Lösung wie Intune oder Jamf verwaltet werden, können Sie ein Skript verwenden, um die Datei zu aktualisieren und Administratorrechte aus der Autorisierungsrichtlinie zu entfernen. Sehen Sie sich das folgende Beispielskript an.

Anweisungen

  1. Aktualisieren Sie die <Limit>-Direktive in Zeile 59, um CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer hinzuzufügen. Dieses Tag ist die Standardzugriffsgruppe ohne Require-Klausel, sodass mit dieser Änderung jeder Benutzer Drucker installieren/löschen/ändern kann.
  2. Aktualisieren Sie die <Limit>-Direktive in Zeile 75, um CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer zu entfernen. Diese Zugriffsgruppe erfordert @SYSTEM-Berechtigungen, daher möchten wir diese Anforderung entfernen.
