Configure Clustered MS DTC Resource Settings

When you add a clustered Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC) resource, you can use this procedure to configure its settings.

Membership in Administrators, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at Local and Domain Default Groups (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477).

To configure settings for an MS DTC resource

1. Open the Component Services snap-in.

   To open Component Services, click Start. In the search box, type dcomcnfg, and then press ENTER.

2. In the console tree, locate the clustered MS DTC resource under the Clustered DTCs folder.

3. On the Action menu, click Properties.

   Revise any properties for tracing, logging, or security as needed for the clustered MS DTC resource.

4. Click OK.
