This interface provides methods to connect, disconnect, and manage Core Connectivity services. In addition, this interface provides support for OEMs to provide a custom Core Connectivity service implementation.

The ICcService interface provides methods and properties that:

  • Initialize a service to a known good state
  • Connect and disconnect a service from a device
  • Support service lifetime functionality through external lock mechanisms

Methods

The following tables show the methods for this interface. The interface inherits the methods for the IUnknown and IDispatch interfaces.

The following table shows the methods for the IDispatch interface.

IDispatch::Invoke Provides access to properties and methods exposed by an object.

ICcService::Abort Aborts a command uniquely identified by a specified cookie.
