This interface contains the methods called by the Exchange client library to communicate status to application code that uses the library.

Applications that use the Exchange client library create an object that implements this interface.

Methods

  • The following table shows the methods for this interface in vtable order.
    Like all COM interfaces, this interface inherits the methods for the IUnknown interface.

    Method Description
    OnShutdown Called by the Exchange client library when a shutdown, initiated by the IExchangeClient::Uninitialize method, is complete.
    OnRequestProgress Called by the Exchange client library when the status of a request has changed.

Obtaining a Pointer

Because this interface is implemented by application code that uses the Exchange client library, it can be created in whatever way the application needs it.

OS Versions: Windows CE 5.0 and later.
Header: IExchangeClient.h, IExchangeClient.idl.
